Emma Rose is in her first season at the helm of the Salem lacrosse program, after serving as an assistant coach during the programs inaugural spring season. She helped to led the program to it's first ever win in history, as well as it's first ever conference win. 
 
Rose comes to Salem after a successful playing career at Gardner-Webb University, where she was a member of the programs inaugural team and a 3 year letter-winning. During her playing career rose played in 52 games making 50 starts, and wrapped up her career in the midfield with 39 points, 75 ground balls and 46 draw controls. Rose gained Big South Presidential Academic Honors in each of the 3 seasons she played for the running bulldogs. Rose was named a team captain, and a Big South All-Academic team member her senior year. 
 
After graduating for GWU with her B.A in Political Science, Rose went on to pursue her graduate degree at Wake Forest University earning a M.A.S in Sustainability. In addition to her coaching duties, Rose also serves as an adjunct science professor on campus. 
 
A native of Ft.Lauderdale, Florida, Rose resides in Winston-Salem with her significant other and dog Leo.
