Alexandria Morrison

Alexandria Morrison serves as the Director of Sports Information, Communication & Marketing at Salem College, where she oversees athletic communications, media relations, website management, social media strategy, live statistics, live streaming, and the promotion of Salem Athletics' student-athletes, coaches, and programs.

Morrison joins Salem College after serving as a Strategic Communications Assistant within the Department of Athletics, supporting communication efforts, live statistics content creation, media relations, and storytelling initiatives that highlighted the achievements of student-athletes and athletic programs. During her time at Temple University, she also earned a Master of Science in Sport Business with a concentration in Athletic Administration.

Prior to Temple, Morrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Sports Studies from Penn State University. During her time at Penn State, she gained valuable experience as a Recruiting Intern for the football program, where she coordinated recruiting visits, managed compliance protocols, and prepared travel materials for the coaching staff. She also gained professional experience through event and operations roles with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, contributing to the successful execution of high-profile sporting events.

A passionate advocate for student-athlete development and community engagement, Morrison has volunteered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Mid-Atlantic Conference since 2018. As a track and field official, she has helped support competitions serving more than 1,000 athletes annually while promoting positive athletic experiences for youth participants.

Morrison's connection to athletics extends beyond her professional experiences. A former collegiate track and field student-athlete and team captain, she developed a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and competitive excellence. She also served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), representing the interests of student-athletes at both the campus and conference levels.

She holds certifications in Diversity Studies, Sports Journalism, and ADA Training and is proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and AP Style writing.

Morrison is committed to elevating the Salem Athletics brand through innovative storytelling, strategic communications, and meaningful engagement that celebrates the accomplishments of Salem's student-athletes, coaches, and programs.
