Lacrosse Loses at Pfeiffer

Misenheimer, NC-The Salem College lacrosse team lost 24-3 at Pfeiffer last night. Collette Vladimery led the Spirits with 2 goals. Salem is now 1-9 overall, while Pfeiffer improves to 7-1.

Pfeiffer jumped out to a 15-0 lead at halftime. Salem held the Falcons to just 9 second half goals and scored 3 of their own. Pfeiffer held a 21-9 ground ball advantage and 38-6 shot advantage. Salem was 3 for 13 on clears for the day. 

Madison McCarthy added a goal and an assist. Logan Bowling led the team with 3 draw controls and 3 ground balls. Hannah Ostlund had 2 saves and Samantha Fritts had 2 saves.

The Spirits will play at Guilford on March 17th in more non-conference action.
