SOPHOMORE (2025): Capped off her second year at Salem with a 7-7 mark in singles play … earned Second Team All-Conference accolades for the second time in as many seasons, joining Andrea Akers as the only players to grab All-Conference honors on multiple occasions during their collegiate career as a Spirit … five of her seven triumphs came in two sets and three of those came versus USA South Conference opponents … began her season with a three-set victory over Ashley Belnap (Guilford) on September 22, 2024. The following weekend, she took down Pfeiffer's Haley Ingenito, a first-team All-Conference selection, in a non-conference clash by scores of 7-6 (9-7), 5-7, 1-0 (10-8) … first win of the spring competition came against Peja Cruise (Hollins) on March 7th by scores of 6-0, 6-2. She followed that by claiming a 6-0, 6-0 win against Gretchen Lutz (Mary Baldwin) on March 18th … 3-3 in April singles play, opened the month with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Ellie Osborne (Meredith). Two days later, in a clash with Brevard's Hannah Hersh, Keim prevailed by scores of 6-3, 6-1. The Elkhart, Ind., native closed out the regular season with a non-conference win over Hannah Christiansen (Johnson & Wales) with a 6-1, 7-5 victory … was also dominant for the Spirits in doubles action alongside teammate Cymone Crump … pair shared the distinction of being the top doubles tandem for Salem in 2025. The two closed the regular season with a 9-3 mark, all as the No. 1 seed, and were 4-2 when facing USA South Conference units … following a 6-0 win over the tandem of Christiansen and Kourtney Newton (Johnson & Wales), Crump and Keim tied the tandem of Andrea Akers and Ayla Pruitt, who were 9-5 as a unit, for the most No. 1 doubles wins in Spirits history … the first of their nine wins came in the fall against the Winston-Salem State tandem of Brooke Higgins and Semmie Moore, who they downed in 6-0 fashion … Crump and Keim ended the fall slate with a 7-5 win over Pfeiffer's Alison Sloop and Megan Rekieta … when Salem returned to the courts in the spring, Keim and Crump opened with three straight wins as they defeated No. 1 pairs from Hollins (6-3), Mary Baldwin (6-0) and Methodist (7-5) … Keim and Crump were 4-2 in April, opening with wins over Ellie Osborne and Claire Southern (Meredith) as well as Hannah Hersh and Sophie Trantham (Brevard) … the final two regular season victories came over Piedmont (6-4) and Johnson & Wales (6-0).
FIRST YEAR (2024): Participated in 15 singles matches, all as the No. 1 seed, along with 16 doubles matches, all as the No. 1 seed alongside classmate Mariana Faint ... posted the fourth-most singles wins (six) in program history after just one season, tying Rukhsona Usmanova for fourth in singles wins in program history … capped off her first year at Salem with seven doubles alongside Faint … began her collegiate career by winning four consecutive singles matches by downing Ashley Belnap (Guilford), Megan Rekieta (Pfieffer), Ellie Osborne (Meredith) and Morgan Hundley (Ferrum) in succession … posted her fifth singles win, first against a USA South Conference opponent, on April 6th by again downing Osborne by scores of 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 … made her final singles triumph of the slate, which tied her alongside teammates Alana Bridges and Cadence Durham for second-most on the team, came in 6-0, 6-3 fashion over Hannah Eastridge (Mary Baldwin) … Faint and Keim were the only two individuals to compete as a No. 1 doubles team for the Spirits in 2023-24 … won four straight to open the season, taking down Guilford (Belnap/Kancie Tate), Pfeiffer (Rekieta/Alison Sloop), Meredith (Phillips/Hannah Higgins) and Ferrum (Huffman/Gabby Mendoza) in succession … fifth victory came at Columbia (March 12), as the pair downed Aniya Sims and Mariane Lima ... In April, the Faint and Keim tandem posted doubles victories against Meredith (Southern/ Hannah Higgins) and Mary Baldwin (Eastridge/Bantel) … pair is tied for the second-most wins (seven) in program history with Makenna Mason / Abigail Williams and is two wins shy of Andrea Akers / Ayla Pruitt (9-5) for the most wins as a No. 1 seed in program history.
PREP: Graduated from Elkhart High School in 2023 … a four-sport athlete who competed in cross country (2019-22), soccer (2019-20), track (2021-23) and tennis (2021-23) … served as the cross country captain on two occasions (2021 / 2022) and tennis team captain (2023) for one year … named as the 2021 Pride Award winner for cross country in 2023 … earned Most Valuable Player honors for the tennis team in 2021, 2022 and 2023 … recipient of the Catherine Wolf Award (2023), Kiwanis Athlete of the Year Award (2023) and Goshen News Athlete of the Year (2023) … garnered NIC honorable mention or second team honors (2019-2022) … a Semi-State Qualifier in cross country on three occasions (2019-2021) , Regional Qualifier Cross Country following the 2022 season … NIC Honorable Mention Tennis on three occasions.
PERSONAL: Adley Keim … daughter of Laramie and Mike Keim … born on February 8, 2005 … has one sibling, Cortland … maintained a 4.32 GPA throughout her time at Elkhart High School, where she graduated Top-10 in her class … was named to Principal’s Honor Roll all four years … member of National Honor Society and orchestra.
