-USA South Conference Rookie of the Week (March 10, 2024)

FIRST-YEAR (2025): Played in nine singles matches over the course of the season for the Spirits, finishing 3-6 overall and 2-5 when facing USA South Conference opponents … the three victories all came as the No. 5 seed … made her college debut in singles on March 7th when she faced Arabella Crookshanks (Hollins) and emerged with a 6-0, 6-0 victory … moved to 2-0 in singles play following a 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Lauren Byrnes (Mary Baldwin) on March 18th … notched her final singles victory of the season on April 6th following a 6-4, 7-5 win over Anna Bittler (Meredith) … paired with five different teammates, including Jessea James, Samantha Smiley, Alyx Diggs, Daisy Ortiz Mendoza and Emily Buckler in doubles action, seeing her most success alongside Mendoza, as the pair was 4-5 as the No. 2 seed … opened the spring season alongside Mendoza, where the pair delivered 6-0 wins over Sash Mingo and Rachel Hull (Hollins) as well as Lauren Byrnes and Gabrielle Wyatt (Mary Baldwin) in early March … the third doubles triumph came as a result of a 7-5 win over Cate Reilly and Hannah Jo Jablonski (Meredith) on April 6th … Koons and Mendoza capped off the final match of the regular season with a 6-4 doubles triumph against Ivana Barber and Kirsten Cannon (Johnson & Wales).
