FIRST-YEAR (2025): Closed out her first season at Salem with an 8-6 singles mark, finishing 5-5 as the No. 2 seed and a perfect 3-0 as the No. 3 seed for the Spirits … the five wins from the No. 2 seed tied here for fifth-most in program history alongside Summer Whitener (2011) … made a successful singles debut on September 22nd, defeating Jolie Nhouyvanisvong (Guilford) as the No. 3 seed by scores of 7-6, 5-4 … followed that with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Brooke Higgins (Winston-Salem State) one week later … closed out the fall a perfect 3-0 after defeating Sydney Cohen (Pfeiffer) by scores of 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-5) … claimed her fourth singles victory in the spring with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Kristiahn Foster (Hollins) by margins of 6-4, 6-1 … claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win over Kelsey Bantel (Mary Baldwin) as the No. 2 seed … opened April action with a 6-3, 5-7, 10-5 victory against Claire Southern (Meredith) … broke a three-match losing streak with back-to-back victories, the first coming in three sets (6-4, 5-7, 10-7) over Caroline Morrison (Piedmont) … capped off the regular season with a 6-0, 6-1 victory against Kourtney Newton (Johnson & Wales) … served as the No. 1 seed in the USA South Tournament clash with Southern Virginia, suffering a 6-1, 6-0 setback to the Knights’ Paula Snelson … was also dominant for the Spirits in doubles action alongside teammate Adley Keim … pair shared the distinction of being the top doubles tandem for Salem in 2025. The two closed the regular season with a 9-3 mark, all as the No. 1 seed, and were 4-2 when facing USA South Conference units … following a 6-0 win over the tandem of Christiansen and Kourtney Newton (Johnson & Wales), Crump and Keim tied the tandem of Andrea Akers and Ayla Pruitt, who were 9-5 as a unit, for the most No. 1 doubles wins in Spirits history … the first of their nine wins came in the fall against the Winston-Salem State tandem of Brooke Higgins and Semmie Moore, who they downed in 6-0 fashion … Crump and Keim ended the fall slate with a 7-5 win over Pfeiffer's Alison Sloop and Megan Rekieta … when Salem returned to the courts in the spring, Keim and Crump opened with three straight wins as they defeated No. 1 pairs from Hollins (6-3), Mary Baldwin (6-0) and Methodist (7-5) … Keim and Crump were 4-2 in April, opening with wins over Ellie Osborne and Claire Southern (Meredith) as well as Hannah Hersh and Sophie Trantham (Brevard) … the final two regular season victories came over Piedmont (6-4) and Johnson & Wales (6-0).
PREP: Graduated from Middletown High School in 2024 … played varsity tennis under Melissa Conley on the Middletown High School from 2018-24 … recognized as Athlete of the Month in October 2023 … named as Most Valuable Player of Middle Bears team following 2023 season … competed in Counties Level (2018-23) … was a Sectional Finalist (2022-23) … a State Qualifier (2023) … led her team to OCIAA Division crown in 2023.Â
