Box Score 2 GAME NOTES
- Salem traveled to Myrtle Beach SC this past Tuesday and Wednesday and came out on top. Tuesday they competed against Kentucky Christian winning 12-7 and Me.-Presques Isle winning 12-0.
- Wednesday was a doubleheader against Frostburg St. Game 1 winning 10-3 and game 2 winning 9-0 ending in the 5th inning.
- Salem hit very well allowing them to put up many runs over the past two days and executed defensive stops very well.
THE SHORT STORY
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Salem Spirits soared right past the Frostburg State Bobcats 10-3 and 9-0 during a doubleheader on Wednesday.
While The Bobcats were first on the scoreboard, the Spirits answered in the bottom of the first with five runs, including a home run from Breanna Herman.
Salem never lost the lead again.
In the second game, the Spirits plated five runs in the third inning. They came back with another four runs in the fifth, which ended the game.

The Salem Spirits will be on the road Friday, March 22 for their next doubleheader at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm against Randolph.
