FIRST YEAR (2024): Appeared in 16 games for the Spirits, making 16 at bats along the way … closed out the season with seven hits, four runs and one RBI … swiped four bases, which tied her alongside teammate Taela Belcher for second-most on the team … posted a .438 batting average, .500 on-base percentage and .438 slugging percentage … made her collegiate debut against Carolina University (Feb. 17) … had the first hit of her career in a clash with Livingstone (Feb. 19), where she was 1-for-1 from the plate with a stolen base … delivered a hit at Covenant (March 12) in the first game of the series … picked up a hit against Southern Virginia (April 10-Game 2) … capped off the Greensboro (April 13) series with a hit in game two … helped Salem post a 7-6 victory over Brevard with a 2-for-4 outing, scoring two runs along the way, while swiping two bases in the first game of the doubleheader … had her final hit of the season in the first game of the series with William Peace (April 20).

PREP: Graduated from West Ashley High School in 2023 … played four years of softball under the direction of Amanda Matumoto … named All-Region in consecutive seasons (2022, 2023) … also competed in Club Softball for two seasons … competed in 2022 for the South Carolina Bandits under head coach Taylor Johnson … followed that by playing for Coastal Force in 2023 for head coach Lane Taylor.

PERSONAL: Amelia McLamb … daughter of Lorrie Starn and Robert McLamb … born on October 6, 2004 … has three siblings, Kris McLamb, Savannah Starn and Stacy Higuera … was a Scholar-Athlete at West Ashley High School … earned a spot on the SAT Wall of Fame with a 1200 … completed courses in CTE.
