JUNIOR (2020): Started in six of eight contests for the Spirits over the course of the season … closed with three runs and two hits in 15 at bats … drew three walks … both of her hits came against Guilford (Feb. 19) as she finished 1-for-1 from the plate in both the first and second game of the season opener … scored two runs for Salem at Agnes Scott (March 1) … crossed the plate for a run against Ferrum (March 8).

PREP: Graduated from Ronald Reagan High School … a two-sport athlete that played both softball (2014-17) and basketball (2014-15) … participated in softball under head coach Mike Stigall and basketball for head coach Gary Haley … a Central Piedmont Conference All-Conference performer in softball following the 2014, 2015 and 2017 season …

PERSONAL: Jessica Cummings … daughter of Jennifer and Mark Cummings … born on December 12, 1998 … has two siblings, Sarah and Brantley … an honor roll student all four years of high school … member of Latin Club, National Honor Society, National Latin Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society … attended Surry Community College, from 2018-19, playing softball for head coach Blaine Bullington.
