SENIOR (2025): Played in the field in 19 games for Salem, making 11 starts along the way … finished 7-for-31 (.226 batting average) at the plate and was responsible for five runs and four RBI … drew five walks … recorded 15 put outs in the field and assisted on eight outs … made her first start of the season at second in the second game against Columbia International (Feb. 14), finishing 1-for-3 from the plate with a run scored … had a three-game hitting streak, which included hits in both games of the doubleheader with Johnson & Wales (March 22) … followed that with a two-hit performance, which resulted in two RBI, in USA South Conference opener with Brevard (March 26) … sent a bases-loaded single over the outstretched hands of Brevard's Anna Graves, accounting for two of Salem's four runs in the fifth inning, helping capture a 9-7 win in game two of the USA South Conference doubleheader … scored one run in each of the clashes with Greensboro (April 19) … provided the go-ahead run, after finishing 1-for-3 with two RBI, in Salem’s final home game of the season against Methodist (April 26) … made seven appearances in the pitching circle, tossing 8.1 innings along the way … surrendered just 16 hits and two walks while converting one strikeout … had her first appearance in the circle in game one of Agnes Scott (Feb. 28) series, tossing 1.2 innings, allowing one run off two hits before completing one-third of an inning in the second game … logged two innings against Grace (March 2) in game one … made her lone start of the campaign, where she tossed 2.2 innings  … came on in relief in game one against N.C. Wesleyan (April 5), notching her lone strikeout in two-thirds of an inning … completed one inning against the Battling Bishops in game two of the series … had the final appearance of the season in game two of the series with Methodist (April 26). 

JUNIOR (2024): Played in 25 games over the duration of the season, notching 21 strikeouts … closed with two hits and scored one run for the Spirits … drew two walks and tallied one stolen base … one of seven pitchers to enter the circle for Salem on the season, making 20 appearances and seven starts along the way … had the second-most innings pitched (40.2) on the season, allowing 73 runs, 60 earned runs and just six walks … struck out eight opposing hitters … opened the season with a 1-for-4 outing in a setback to Carolina University (Feb. 17-Game 1), where she had a stolen base … collected a hit against Wesleyan (Ga.) in the first game of the series on February 25th … logged 5.2 innings in the circle against Carolina University (Feb. 17-Game 1) … posted her first strikeout of the season at St. Andrews (Feb. 22-Game 2) in two innings as Salem won 14-9 … capped off a clash at Carolina University (March 5) with strikeouts in each game … came through with at least one strikeout against Covenant (March 12-Game 2), Agnes Scott (March 13-Game 1), N.C. Wesleyan (March 30-Game 2), Pfeiffer (April 6-Game 2) and Mary Baldwin (April 24-Game 2).

SOPHOMORE (2023): Closed out the 2023 campaign by posting the lowest ERA (5.51) of any Salem pitcher, making 17 appearances and 11 starts along the way … logged a team-best 78.1 innings in the circle, allowing the fewest runs (86), earned runs (48) and walks (16) along the way … recorded 13 strikeouts over the course of the season … responsible for the lowest batting average (.355) by opposing hitters for the Spirits … also made her presence felt at the plate with a .237 batting average, fifth-highest on the team … delivered 14 hits, which tied her for third-fourth alongside teammate Carlee McWilliam … also tied for fourth on the unit in runs (eight) with Cree Bass … responsible for six RBI for the Spirits, fifth-most of any slugger … topped the charts in sacrifice bunts with seven for Salem … posted the fifth-best on-base percentage (.308) of any Salem hitter … connected on her first hit of the season at Averett (Feb. 18), crossing the plate for one run for the Spirits … delivered a base hit against Eastern Mennonite (March 5) at the Grand Slam Triangle Classic in Raleigh, N.C. … began a series with Livingstone (March 20) with her third hit of the season … responsible for two hits, including a 2-for-3 outing that resulted in a run scored and an RBI in a win over Livingstone (March 20) in game two … enjoyed a two-hit outing against N.C. Wesleyan (April 2) … collected a base hit against N.C. Wesleyan (April 2) in the second game of the series, scoring one run in the process … tallied a run for the Spirits at Mary Baldwin (April 5) … closed out the series with Southern Virginia (April 11) with a hit and a run scored … crossed the plate against Greensboro (April 15) in the second game of the series, scoring one run … delivered a hit, while accounting for an RBI and a run scored at Shaw (April 18) … capped off the slate with a pair of two-hit, two-RBI games versus Methodist (April 29) in the season finale … made her debut in the circle in the first game of the season against Averett (Feb. 18), tossing five innings … posted a win (15-2) against Livingstone (March 20) as the Spirits completed the sweep, where she tossed five innings, allowed two runs on seven hits and issued just one walk … tallied three strikeouts, including the first in her collegiate career, in game two against Brevard (March 26) … had one strikeout in clashes with both Meredith (March 31) and N.C. Wesleyan (April 2) … came through with a K against Greensboro (April 15) … established her single-game career-high in strikeouts (five) at Shaw (April 18), tossing six innings and allowing seven runs on nine hits … ended her season with one strikeout in her final outings against Sweet Briar (April 23) and William Peace (April 26).

FIRST YEAR (2022): Served as both a pitcher and outfielder for the Spirits over the course of the season … closed out her first season with nine hits and one RBI while starting in 27 games along the way … made her collegiate debut at Guilford (Feb. 26) … recorded her first collegiate hit versus DeSales (March 9) at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C. … followed that with a two-hit performance, later that afternoon, against Centenary (N.J.), finishing 2-for-2 with a RBI in the 5-4 victory … delivered one hit each against both Meredith (March 26) and William Peace (March 29) … responsible for a single in the opening game of the series with N.C. Wesleyan (April 23) and Carolina University (April 24) … ended her season with a 2-for-3 outing, while scoring one run, in a clash at Blixt Field against the Bruins on April 24th … made her first collegiate appearance in the circle for Salem against Montclair State (March 8), tossing seven innings, allowing 14 hits and five earned runs … had her second career start against Shaw (March 19), but did not have a decision … made back-to-back starts against William Peace on March 29th … capped off the first game with the Pacers by tossing a complete game 10-hitter, striking out her only batter of the season in the process … worked six innings at Greensboro (April 2), allowing four earned runs on eight hits … saw action in both games against Pfeiffer (April 16), making a start in the first game and coming in relief in the second contest … ended the season with three straight starts in the circle against Mary Baldwin (April 20), N.C. Wesleyan (April 23) and Carolina (April 24).

PREP: Graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 2021 … played four years of softball under the direction of Paul Kikta (2017-18) and Jazzmin Oates (2019-21) … served as team captain of the Vikings from 2019-21 … was an Athletic Leadership Selection in 2019 … named team Most Valuable Player following the 2021 campaign … recognized as All-Conference performer in 2021 … competed on the Club Softball circuit from 2016-21 for the Northlake Phantoms under the direction of head coach Rob Price … named as team captain of the Phantoms from 2018-21.

PERSONAL: Katherine Price … daughter of Karen and Rob Price … born October 9, 2003 … has one sibling, Zack … named to National Honor Society … member of A/B honor roll for three years in high school.
