Biography

Katie is entering her third year with the Salem College Spirits. During Katie’s High School career she was a 4 year varsity starter and team captain for her junior and senior year. She was also named to the All-Conference team in her Junior and Senior year. She also had the honor of being named to the North Carolina district 5 state team for two consecutive years and was the team’s starting catcher. Katie also received a medal for the most athletic in her 2015 graduating class. Katie is now in her third year at Salem and has made the GSAC all-conference team and all-freshman team during her 2016 season. She also received a USA South sportsmanship award in 2017. Katie is a Psychology major with a minor in sociology.
