JUNIOR (2020): Closed out her third year at Salem by leading the team in hits (22) while ranking among the top-five in runs (11—t-1st), triples (1—t-1st), sacrifice flies (2—1st), doubles (5—2nd), slugging percentage (.569—3rd), batting average (.431—3rd) and RBI (8—4th) … made significant contributions on the mound for the Spirits after logging a team-best 40.2 innings, allowing 61 hits, 31 runs (20 earned runs) and striking out the second-most opposing hitters (17) on the team, trailing only Kayla Ogle in that category … had the second-lowest ERA on the team (3.44) … opened the season with a 12-game hitting streak that began with a 1-for-4 outing against Guilford (Feb. 19) … recorded multi-hit performances in seven of those 12 games, including a three-hit outing against Ferrum (March 8) … after witnessing her streak ending in the first game of a series with FDU-Florham (March 11), Barker ended the season with a 2-for-3 performance in the second game of the series, scoring a single-game season-high two runs in the process … made her first of six starts on the mound for Salem against Guilford (Feb. 19), tossing a complete game … after completing 1.1 innings of relief work in the second game of the doubleheader with the Quakers (Feb. 19), Barker earned the starting nod at Emory & Henry (Feb. 22), striking out five batters and allowing three runs over six innings … her third start of the season, at Huntingdon (Feb. 29), resulted in four strikeouts and five runs … earned her first win of the season in the second game of a doubleheader at Agnes Scott (March 1), where she fanned three Scottie hitters over six innings … followed that performance by pitching five innings, allowing eight hits, two runs and one walk in a clash with Randolph (March 7), earning her second win … finished off her third win of the season against Ferrum (March 8) by notching two strikeouts, limiting the Panthers to two runs and surrendering eight hits.

SOPHOMORE (2019):
Started 35 of the 37 games in which she played, finishing in the top-five of seven major statistical categories including hits (52—1st), runs (36—1st), doubles (nine—t-2nd), RBI (29—2nd), slugging percentage (.537—2nd), batting average (.430—2nd) and at bats (121—2nd) … a dominant performer on the mound as well for the Spirits, closing with a 12-6 record after making 28 appearances where she logged 127.1 innings, surrendered 131 hits, allowed 49 runs, 41 earned runs, issued 23 walks and converted 96 strikeouts … limited opposing hitters to a .263 batting average … opened the season with a pair of back-to-back three-hit performances against Southern Virginia (Feb. 15), beginning 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs and a double in the opener, before coming through with a 3-for-4 outing that included an RBI and two runs and a double in game two … emerged with two RBI and a run after hitting 1-for-4 against Shenandoah (Feb. 16) … closed out a meeting with Pfeiffer (March 12) by going 2-for-4 from the plate … started an eight-game hitting streak with a 2-for-5 outing that included an RBI and a run scored against Kentucky Christian (March 19) … was 2-for-3 from the plate with two runs against Maine-Presque Isle (March 19) … closed with a pair of two-hit outings against Frostburg (March 20), including a 2-for-4 outing that included two runs, a double, triple and a RBI in the opening game. She followed with a 2-fo4-3 performance, which included a RBI and two runs … closed with one hit in a doubleheader against N.C. Wesleyan (March 27) … came through with a 3-for-5 outing, which included five RBI, two runs and a double against William Peace (March 30) … emerged with one hit in four at bats and two runs at William Peace (March 30) … had her ninth multi-hit game of the season (2-for-5) at Meredith (March 31), scoring two runs along the way … came through with three hits and an RBI against Greensboro (April 3) … was 3-for-4 from the plate with a double, two RBI and two runs at Mary Baldwin (April 6) … closed with a pair of base hits (2-for-4), one run and a RBI against Mary Baldwin (April 6) … extended her hitting streak to six games with a 3-for-3 outing that included two runs and a double against Ferrum (April 7) … came through with two hits in the opening game of a two-game set with Averett (April 10) … emerged with two hits against both Averett (April 10) and Randolph (April 11), extending her hitting streak to nine games in the clash with the Wildcats … closed with a pair of single against Greensboro (April 18) … had a double as he went 1-for-3 from the plate with two RBI against Piedmont (April 26) … was 2-for-5 from the plate with two RBI and three runs against Meredith (April 26) … had a double, finishing 1-for-4 from the plate against Averett (April 27) … came through with her 17th multi-hit game of the slate against Maryville (April 27), finishing 2-for-3 from the plate with an RBI and a run scored … posted her first win of the season against Southern Virginia (Feb. 15) after holding the Knights hitless over five innings, striking out nine batters along the way … led Salem to a 13-1 win over Shenandoah (Feb. 16), allowing three hits and one run over five innings … fanned four batters against Frostburg (March 20), while allowing five hits in five innings … picked up her fourth win of the slate at Meredith (March 31), where she gave up one run on four hits while striking out three batters … followed that by adding her fifth win of the slate against Greensboro (April 3), limiting The Pride to five hits and making five strikeouts … fanned a single-game season-high 14 hitters against Mary Baldwin (April 6), tossing seven innings on the mound and allowing four hits … grabbed her seventh win of the season against Ferrum (April 7), fanning five batters, and surrendering two hits … worked 3.2 innings, allowing four hits while striking out four, in her eighth win of the season against Ferrum (April 7) … snagged her ninth win of the campaign against Methodist (April 13) after limiting the Monarch lineup to three hits … had her longest outing of the season (9 IP), where she came through with seven strikeouts for her 10th win of the season … picked up her 11th win of the slate against Piedmont (April 26) after tossing six innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, while striking out four … snagged her final win of the season against Meredith (April 26) after a four-strikeout performance that resulted in eight hits and four runs.

FRESHMAN (2018): Put together a solid first year for the Spirits by ranking in the top-five of 10 major statistical categories including batting average (.407—1st), hits (57—1st), doubles (15—1st), RBI (33—1st), total bases (78—1st), slugging percentage (.557—1st), stolen bases (6—2nd), homeruns (2—t-2nd), runs (32—2nd) and on-base percentage (.431—2nd) … a solid performer on the mound for Salem, finishing 14-4 with a 2.43 ERA, making 17 starts in 22 appearances … logged 126.2 innings, allowing 112 hits, 58 runs, 44 earned runs, 26 walks and 106 strikeouts … opposing hitters managed a .234 batting average against her … her first collegiate hit was a home run, finishing with two RBI and two runs scored against Emory & Henry (Feb. 9) … was 3-for-3 from the plate with two RBI and a run scored, including a double against Southern Virginia (Feb. 16) … wrapped up the second game of the doubleheader against the Knights (Feb. 16), finishing 1-for-2 from the plate with a double and an RBI … was 3-for-3 from the plate with three runs and a pair of stolen bases against Frostburg State (Feb. 17) … had a pair of 2-for-4 performances against Brandeis (Feb. 20), combining for three RBI and two doubles in the process … began her season-long 12-game hitting streak with a 1-for-3 outing against Randolph-Macon (Feb. 25) … followed up a one-hit outing against Randolph (Feb. 25) with two hits against Averett (March 3), which resulted in a run scored … came through with a single against Averett (March 3) in the second game of the doubleheader … opened the series against Greensboro (March 4) with a pair of hits, including a double, before coming through with a single versus The Pride in the second game … stretched her hitting streak to eight games following a solid series against Pfeiffer (March 8) that resulted in a two-hit performance in the first game before coming through with a base hit in the second … began a series with Meredith (March 10) with a pair of hits before extending her streak to 10 games with a single against the Avenging Angels in the second contest … was 1-for-3 from the plate against William Peace (March 15) before coming through with three hits, including a home run and a double, in the nightcap with the Pacers, marking the last game of the hit streak … came through with two hits against Ferrum (March 23) … had a single-game season-high four RBI after finishing 2-for-3 from the plate against Mary Baldwin (March 29) … came through with a 2-for-2 performance, which included a double and two runs, in the second game against Mary Baldwin (March 29) … closed out the first game against N.C. Wesleyan (March 30) with two hits and three RBI, while enjoying her ninth double of the campaign … opened a seven-game hitting streak at Methodist (March 31), finishing 2-for-3 from the plate with four runs scored and an RBI … enjoyed a two-hit performance (2-for-4) with an RBI and a run scored, while coming through with a double against the Monarchs (March 31) … closed out a meeting against William Peace (April 6) by going 2-for-4 from the plate with two RBI and a run score … came through with a base hit against Pacers (April 6), recording an RBI and a run scored … extended her hitting streak to five games with a 2-for-4 outing against Averett (April 13) with a pair of doubles … put together a 3-for-4 outing that included two RBI against Meredith (April 14) … ended her seven-game hitting streak versus Maryville (April 14), closing 1-for-4 from the floor with a double … posted her 19th multi-hit performance of the season against Maryville (April 16) with a 3-for-4 outing that included two doubles, one run and an RBI … made her collegiate debut on the mound versus Emory & Henry, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out five batters in a setback … held Frostburg State (Feb. 17) to four hits, while striking out seven, in a 10-0 win … snagged her second win of the season against Brandeis (Feb. 20) with nine strikeouts over six innings on the mound … posted her third win of the slate against Eastern Mennonite (Feb. 25) as she fanned 11 batters and allowed five hits in eight innings … grabbed her first win in March and fourth of the season against Greensboro (March 4) as she limited The Pride to one hit in six innings … picked up her fifth win of the season against Meredith (March 10) after scattering five hits over seven innings … came through with a single-game season-high 12 strikeouts as the Spirits earned a 1-0 victory against William Peace (March 15) … tallied her seventh win of the season at Ferrum (March 23), logging seven innings, allowing four hits and coming through with six strikeouts … claimed her eighth win against N.C. Wesleyan (March 30), fanning five Battling Bishops while giving up eight hits in the process … capped off March against Methodist (March 31), where she came through with her ninth win on the season, after striking out six Monarch hitters over seven innings of work … moved her record to 10-4 following a win over William Peace (April 6), where she surrendered six hits and struck out two Pacer batters … followed that with her 11th victory, which came against Averett (April 13), as she fanned seven batters and scattered four hits … came through with a victory against Meredith (April 14), striking out five hitters over 6.1 innings … earned her 13th win of the slate against Maryville (April 16) after striking out four hitters, allowing five hits and three runs, in seven innings.

PREP: Graduated from South Granville in 2017 … concluded the 2014 slate by being named All-Conference, All-District and All-District Pitcher of the Year … finished off a solid sophomore season by earning All-Conference, All-District, All-State, All-District Pitcher of the Year, All-State Pitcher of the Year and winning the State Championship in 2015 … wrapped up her 2016 season by earning All-Conference, All-District, All-State and All-District Pitcher of the Year honors, winning a State Championship in back-to-back season … closed out her senior campaign (2017) by winning All-Conference, All-District, All-State, All-Conference Player of the Year, All-District Pitcher of the Year and All-State Player of the Year accolades … was the State Championship runner-up in 2017 … took part in the Club Softball circuit with the Carolina Pirates (Head Coach Mike Bunting), Wake Forest Rockers (Mark Downing) and Carolina Cardinals Long (Scott Long).

PERSONAL: Miranda Dawn Barker … daughter of Stephanie and Tracy Barker … born July 6, 1999 … has two siblings, Timothy and Justin … was a three-time Student of Merit winner (2014, 2015, 2016) … named as an All-American Scholar athlete following the 2015 and 2016 campaigns … member of the National Honor Society in 2017.
