Biography

SOPHOMORE (2024-25): Capped off her first year at Salem with the third-most points (187) on the unit, averaging 11 points per game … played in 17 games, making 16 starts along the way … converted 61 field goals, including 23 from beyond the arc … successful on 42-of-53 free throws, posting a .792 free throw percentage … grabbed 63 rebounds (53 defensive) along with forcing 29 steals … dished out 25 assists … made her collegiate debut at Randolph (Nov. 13), finishing with five points … reached double figures for the first time in a clash with Agnes Scott (Nov. 23), posting 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals after finishing 7-of-16 from the floor … established her single-game season-high in points (18) as she was 6-of-14 from the field and 4-of-4 at the free throw line in a clash with Johnson & Wales (Dec. 4) … capped off December with 11 points and five rebounds in a clash with Meredith (Dec. 31) … began a five-game double-digit scoring streak with a 13-point outing at William Peace (Jan. 7) … followed that with double-digit performances against Greensboro (18), Southern Virginia (11), William Peace (11) and Meredith (16) between contests on January 10 and January 25 … in her 18-point outing against Greensboro on January 10th, she was successful on six field goals and four free throws … opened February action with 11 points in back-to-back contests against Methodist (Feb. 1) and Southern Virginia (Feb. 4), highlighted by a 6-for-6 outing at the free throw line against the Knights … appeared in her final game of the season against N.C. Wesleyan (Feb. 8), notching 12 points as she was successful on 5-of-6 free throws.  

PREP: Attended three years at Simon G. Atkins High School before graduating from Winston-Salem Prep Academy in 2023 … a two-sport athlete during her prep career, playing lacrosse (Atkins HS) and basketball (Atkins HS / Winston-Salem Prep) … member of the basketball teams at Atkins from 2020-22 and Winston-Salem Prep (2022-23) … played her one season of lacrosse in 2019 … recognized as an All-Conference performer on three occasions (2020-21 / 2021-22 / 2022-23) … named as Defensive Player of the Year at Winston-Salem Prep in 2022-23 … distinguished as Female Athlete of the Year while at Winston-Salem Prep (2022-23) … reached the 1,000-point plateau in her career during the 2022-23 season.
