SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Did not play any games over the course of the season due to injury.

FIRST YEAR (2019-20): Played in 12 games over the course of the season for Salem, grabbing 44 rebounds (30 defensive), along with 36 points, which came by virtue of hitting 15-of-38 from the floor and 6-of-14 at the free throw line … made her collegiate debut against Piedmont International and went onto scored five points, after hitting 2-of-4 from the floor … netted a single-game season-high six points, after hitting 3-of-6 from the floor, to go along with five rebounds against Johnson & Wales (Nov. 20) … emerged with five points and five rebounds against Randolph College (Nov. 26) … snagged a single-game season-high seven rebounds (six defensive) at Hollins (Dec. 10) … returned from injury and logged 11 minutes against Greensboro (Feb. 5), grabbing three rebounds and scoring two points in the process … capped off the season by tying her single-game season-high in points (six), while hauling in three rebounds, at Averett (Feb. 15).

PREP: Graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School … a four-year letterwinner in both basketball and volleyball … won the volleyball Coaches Award after sophomore and junior seasons … recognized as Most Improved Player on basketball team following her sophomore and junior campaigns.

PERSONAL: Caroline Michelle Deal … daughter of Michelle and John Deal … born September 8, 2001 … has two siblings, Katie and Ashley … named to Principals List … member of National Honor Society.
