Biography
JUNIOR (2022-23): Played in 15 games earning six starts along the way … closed out the slate with 34 points, converting 10 field goals and eight 3-pointers … was a perfect 6-of-6 at the free throw line for Salem … finagled her way to 25 rebounds, grabbing 22 on the defensive glass … a solid defensive player, forcing eight steals … dished out 15 assists … opened the slate with a three-point outing versus Warren Wilson (Nov. 8), which came by virtue of a 3-point shot … finished with two points against Johnson & Wales (Dec. 17) … converted a trey to finish with three points against Southern Virginia (Jan. 10) … had her single-game season-high in points (13) after playing 38 minutes in a start against Methodist (Jan. 13) … followed that with six points versus N.C. Wesleyan (Jan. 14), also in a start … netted her final points of the slate in a start against Meredith (Jan. 18).
FIRST YEAR (2021-22): Played in 19 contests over the course of the slate, logging 151 minutes along the way … closed the season by hitting 8-of-42 from the floor, including six 3-pointers, and converting four free throws for 26 points … a solid defender, forcing 12 steals and grabbing 12 rebounds (nine defensive), while emerging with eight assists … made her collegiate debut at Randolph, logging 10 minutes … scored the first points of her career at Emory & Henry (Nov. 17) … added three points in seven minutes at Methodist (Nov. 30) … posted her single-game season-high in points (six) at Mary Baldwin (Dec. 4), hitting a field goal and four free throws along the way, while forcing a single-game season-high three steals … scored three points in contests against Ferrum (Dec. 15), N.C. Wesleyan (Jan. 4), Pfeiffer (Feb. 1) and Greensboro (Feb. 3) … logged 10 minutes, scoring one point, in Salem’s 92-83 overtime win against William Peace (Feb. 12) … set a single-game season-high in rebounds (two) at Ferrum (Dec. 15) before equaling the mark 14 days later against Bridgewater.
PREP: Graduated from South Iredell High School in 2020 … earned four letters in basketball over the course of her career … played two years (2016-18) under head coach Michael Fisher and two for head coach Marcus Chambers (2018-20) … a high-level performer who was a two-time captain, scoring 1000 points in her career … named All-County on three occasions, including the 2016-17, 2018-19 and 2019-20 … earned All-Conference Team honors in 2016-17 as well as 2019-20 … active in AAU basketball, competing in the offseason since 2014 … played for head coach Matt Dagenhart’s Statesville Shock team from 2014-18 … spent 2018 playing for the Lady Phenom and head coach Brian Perry … followed that by competing for the Winston-Salem Stealers under head coach Trisha Grant in 2019.
