FIRST YEAR (2024): Finished off her first year at Salem by converting 43 saves (.811 save percentage) in five matches … logged 450 minutes in net for the Spirits and was 3-1-0 along the way … faced 97 shots on the season … made her collegiate debut on September 8th at Wesleyan (Ga.), limiting the Wolves to one goal while making three saves in the 6-1 victory … followed that by surrendering one goal to Warren Wilson (September 13), converting five saves along the way to a 7-1 triumph for the Spirits … came through with nine saves in a setback to Johnson & Wales (September 14) … established her single-match season-high in saves (17) at Sweet Briar (September 20), helping the Spirits to a 5-2 win along the way … earned the starting nod in USA South Conference opener, versus Southern Virginia (September 24), and finished with nine saves over 90 minutes between the pipes in a 4-2 setback to the Knights … played 11 matches in the field. 

PREP: Graduated from Franklin County High School in 2024 … a multi-sport athlete during the course of her prep career, competing in soccer (2020-24), basketball (2020-23), indoor track and field (2022-24) and volleyball (2021) … played soccer under the direction of head coach Maryanne Hodges … her other coaches included Lebryan Patterson (basketball), Chris Rennick (indoor track and field) and Brittany Flora (volleyball) … served as the Eagles’ team captain in soccer in 2024 … named as a First Team All-District performer in the Blue Ridge District for soccer at the close of the 2024 campaign … guided the Eagles to the Blue Ridge District crown in 2024. 

PERSONAL: Adelynn Roe … daughter of Lynn and Kenneth Roe … born on December 29, 2005 … has one sibling, Connor … a second generation collegiate athlete with her mother playing soccer  and her father playing football for four years each at Ferrum College … was a member of the Honor Roll (2023-24) and the Principal’s List (2020-22) … earned a spot in National Honor Society (2022-24) … active in Chill (Too Good for Drugs Club) between 2022 and 2024.
