-USA South Rookie of the Week (September 4, 2023)

SOPHOMORE (2025 / BEACH VOLLEYBALL): Finished a combined 11-6 on the season, posting the best duo record (9-6) alongside Olivia Torres … appeared in two matches alongside teammate Maia Johnson, both as the No. 5 seed, and finished 2-0 … claimed her first two wins of the season alongside Johnson, including a 21-12, 19-21, 16-14 victory over A. Deas / T. Craine (Spartanburg Methodist) … the second win for the tandem of Johnson and Bun also came on February 15th, as they downed Bella DiDonna / Kelly Knox (St. Andrews) in two sets (21-12, 21-10) … joined forces with Olivia Torres on the week leading up to the March 6th match with Wake Tech CC and the pair captured wins in No. 4 clashes with Skylar / Marliana Vincente (21-13, 21-14) as well as Mary Barnes / Vincente (21-6, 21-9) in the first-ever match played at Salem College … teamed with Torres again as the pair defeated Rylee Anderson and Arielle Deas (Spartanburg Methodist) by scores of 21-14, 21-11 … brought home her fourth win with Torres as the pair defeated Zoey Hall / Julia Emore (Sandhills CC) by margins of 21-9, 21-16 … grabbed a fourth-seeded win with Torres over Lydia Nelson / Parker Lynch (Lynchburg) by scores of 21-19, 21-13 … split a series of clashes at Catawba (March 28), facing Ragan Ball and Taylor Allison on March 22nd, closing out a win in the first meeting (14-21, 21-15, 15-13) before falling in the second (21-19, 16-21, 15-11) … won three straight matches to open April play, defeating Parker Lynch / Virginia Zalinski (Lynchburg) and twice downing Kyra Klouzek / Jenna Wensink (St. Andrews) in two sets. 

SOPHOMORE (2024): One of four Spirits with at least 200 digs (217) on the slate, averaging 2.52 digs/set along the way … finished tied for fourth-most service aces (22) with teammate McKenzie Tullock … quickly made her defensive presence felt in the back row with 23 digs, adding nine assists and one service ace along the way, in a five-set clash with Lynchburg (August 30) … followed that with 19 digs and nine assists at Averett (August 30) … closed with nine digs, eight assists and one service ace in a battle with Guilford (August 31) … eclipsed the double-digit dig mark (15), adding six assists and two service aces versus Roanoke (August 31) … made eight digs and five assists against Randolph (September 6) … emerged with 15 digs in a five-set triumph over Ferrum (September 6) … capped off a victory against Greensboro (September 19) with six digs and two assists … instrumental in helping the Spirits top Brevard (September 24) with 10 digs and a service ace .. delivered seven digs, three assists and a service ace in a first round win in the USA South Conference Tournament over Brevard (November 12) … contributed six digs and a service ace in the Semifinals of the USA South Conference Tournament as Salem downed William Peace (November 14) in straight sets … responsible for 12th-most single-match digs (32) in program history as she anchored the back row defensive attack in the USA South Conference Tournament Championship at Southern Virginia (November 16). 

FIRST YEAR (2023): Concluded her first season by ranking in the Top-5 statistical categories for digs (288-2nd), digs/set (2.53-2nd), assists (240-2nd) and assists/set (2.11-5th) … made her collegiate debut against Southern Virginia (Sept. 1), finishing with 17 digs, three service aces and three assists … ended a three-set setback to Virginia Wesleyan (Sept. 2) with seven digs … concluded the clash with Bridgewater (Va.) (Sept. 2) with 16 digs, five digs and four service aces, helping her clinch USA South Freshman of the Week honors … established her single-match season-high in digs (19), adding eight assists and three service aces along the way in a clash with Randolph (Sept. 8) … came through with 18 digs, four assists and three service aces versus Ferrum (Sept. 9) … contributed 12 digs, five assists and three service aces against Hollins (Sept. 9) … had 10 digs at Meredith (Sept. 14) … had her seventh double-digit dig outing of the season (12) against Brevard (Sept. 19) … contributed 15 digs and eight assists versus N.C. Wesleyan (Sept. 23) … finished with 14 digs, six assists versus Methodist (Sept. 26) … tallied 18 digs and six assists in a four-set win over William Peace (Sept. 28) … delivered 18 digs at Southern Virginia (Oct. 5) … began an eight-match stretch of double-digit assist outings with 14 at Brevard (Oct. 17) … tallied 17 assists against Carolina University (Oct. 21) … closed with 19 assists against Pfeiffer (Oct. 28) … handed out a single-match season-high 21 assists, while adding eight digs versus Bob Jones (Oct. 28) … had a double-double (15 assists / 10 digs) in a five-set win over Southern Virginia (Nov. 1) … opened USA South Conference with 20 assists and eight digs at William Peace (Nov. 7) … capped off the season with 13 assists, seven digs at Meredith (Nov. 9).

PREP: Graduated from East Forsyth High School in 2023 … a two-sport athlete for the Eagles, playing both volleyball (2019-22) and beach volleyball (2019-22) … was coached by both Dawn Conrad (volleyball) and Pam Terry (beach volleyball) during the course of her prep career … recognized as an All-Conference performer following the close the 2022 campaign … wrapped up the 2021 season by capturing the league crown, advancing to the second round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) state playoffs … helped East Forsyth repeat its second round appearance in the NCHSAA playoffs in 2022 … competed on the Club Volleyball circuit since the 2019 season, playing for Twin City Volleyball (2019-20), Twin City Volleyball (2020-21 / Justin Burgess) and Twin City Volleyball (2021-22 / Ashton Gregory).
