JUNIOR (2024): Started in all 15 matches for the Spirits over the course of the season … capped off the campaign with three goals, seven points and 20 shots … attempted 15 shots on goals for Salem … finished in a tie with teammate Giselle Ramos for third-most goals on the team … attempted a single-match season-high five shots in a 4-2 win at Agnes Scott (September 6) … delivered two goals on three shots, closing with four points, as the Spirits downed Wesleyan (Ga.) by a 6-1 margin on September 8th … closed with four shots (three shots on goal) in a clash with Warren Wilson (September 13) … notched her final goal of the season, along with her lone assist, in a 5-2 win over Sweet Briar (September 20), as Salem emerged with the 5-2 win … had three shots (two SOG) in a clash with N.C. Wesleyan (October 12) and two in a clash with William Peace (October 19).
SOPHOMORE (2023): Played in 14 matches, earning the starting nod on 13 occasions … netted her lone goal of the campaign in a 7-0 victory at Hollins (Sept. 1), closing with two shots, both on goal … dished out an assist at St. Andrews, helping the Spirits to a 3-2 victory in the process … handed out her second assist of the season in a 1-1 tie against Agnes Scott (Sept. 15) … had one shot at Randolph (Sept. 9) and against William Peace (Oct. 14).
FIRST YEAR (2022): Played in 17 matches over the course of the season, making four starts along the way … one of seven Salem players with multi-goal outings, finishing with two goals, one assist and five points … attempted eight shots on goal and a .533 shot on goal percentage … scored a goal in her first collegiate outing, helping Salem defeat Regent (Sept. 3) by a 9-0 margin … netted her second goal of the season, while handing out one assist for three points, in an 8-0 victory against Sweet Briar (Sept. 6), posting two shots on goal in the process … had three shots, all on goal, in a clash with Carolina University (Sept. 24) … equaled her single-match season-high in shots (three) in the season finale at Methodist (Nov. 1) in the first round of the USA South Conference Tournament.
PREP: Graduated from A.L. Brown High School in 2021 … attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College for one year, but did not compete in athletics … played three years (2019-21) of varsity soccer under the direction of head coach Amber McCullough … named as co-captain at A.L. Brown in both 2020 and 2021 … recognized as the Offensive Most Valuable Player by Coach McCullough … a soccer player for three years (2017-19) in Ecuador at Unidad Educativa Técnico Salesiano, under head coach Andres Coronel … was the championship scorer and served as the team captain of the Unidad Educativa Técnico Salesiano in 2017 and 2018 … competed for both the Tecni Club and Azuay from 2015 to 2019 for coaches Jaime Lojano and Andres Coronel, which serve as a province team for the National Championship in Ecuador.
PERSONAL: Nathaly Adriana Berrezueta Machuca … daughter of Adriana Machuca and Pedro Berrezueta … has one sibling, Pedro Alejandro Berrezueta … an A/B Honor Roll recipient at A.L. Brown High School.
