FIRST YEAR (2024): Played in 12 of 14 matches for the Spirits during the course of the 2024 campaign … came through with two shots, both shots on goal … made her collegiate debut, along with her first start off the season, against Columbia (S.C.) on September 2nd … earned a spot in the starting lineup against both Agnes Scott (September 6) and Wesleyan (Ga.) (September 8) for the Spirits … regained her spot among the starters in a clash at Methodist (September 29) … attempted one shot in a battle with Pfeiffer (October 8) … started the final five matches of the 2024 season … made one shot attempt in the regular season finale versus Greensboro (October 30). 

PREP: Graduated from Rockingham Early College High School in 2024 … also attended Rockingham Community College … received the Scholar-Athlete award … winner of the Griffin Pride Award … competed under the direction of head coach Timothy Buck at Rockingham High School … capped off her senior season (2023-24) by earning All-Conference and Second Team All-Region (3-A Region 7) for her performance on the field … integral in helping the Griffins reach the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state tournament … a 13-year member of the N.C. Fusion 06 Gold Club Soccer program, playing under the direction of Mitchel Williams. 

PERSONAL: Olivia Ann Slayton … daughter of Jeanne and William Slayton … born on April 26, 2006 … has five siblings: William, Michael, Tyler, Scott and Ben … graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rockingham Early College High School … member of high school collegiate A/B honor roll.
