JUNIOR (2024): Limited to just 40 sets (13 matches) due to a lower back injury … closed out her final season, after graduating early, with 164 assists, 10 service aces and 82 digs … capped off the season-opener against Lynchburg (August 30) with 15 digs and 29 assists … handed out 19 assists to go along with eight digs at Averett (August 30) … had her second double-double (21 assists / 17 digs) of the season against Guilford (August 31) … followed that up by dishing out 14 assists and adding 10 digs against Roanoke (August 31) … handed out 12 assists against Randolph (September 6) … emerged with 17 assists in a five-set win over Ferrum (September 6) … dished out 18 assists and added six digs against N.C. Wesleyan (September 7) … eclipsed double-digit assists (11) in a four-set win against Hollins (September 7) … played four sets, finishing with 16 assists along with five digs in a five-set battle with Greensboro (September 19) … competed in one set, handing out one assist, in her Senior Day outing against Mary Baldwin (November 9).
SOPHOMORE (2023): Had the sixth-most assists (676) in program history at a clip of 5.73 assists/set, competing in 118 sets … dished out at least 25 assists in nine matches on the season … had multiple service aces in nine matches … established her single-match season-high in service aces (three) versus Thiel (Sept. 1) … tallied her first double-double (28 assists / 14 digs) of the season against Bridgewater (Va.) (Sept.2), while equaling her single-match season-high in service aces (three) in a five-set victory … established her single-match season-high in assists (36), while adding 14 digs, in a win over Randolph (Sept. 8) … closed out a clash with Greensboro (Sept. 12) with 14 assists and 11 digs … led the offensive attack with 28 assists at N.C. Wesleyan (Sep. 23) … responsible for 35 assists and 10 digs in a five-set victory over Methodist (Sept. 26) … handed out 25 assists, while converting 13 digs, against William Peace (Sept. 28) … delivered 29 assists, while adding seven digs in a win at Pfeiffer (Oct. 28) … doled out 26 assists and contributed 11 digs in a five-set victory over Bob Jones (Oct. 28) … capped off a five-set win over Southern Virginia (Nov. 1) with 26 assists, 11 digs and the match-deciding service ace … began the USA South Conference Tournament with 24 assists, seven digs and two service aces at William Peace (Nov. 7), resulting in a five-set victory.
FIRST YEAR (2022): Led the Salem lineup in assists (685), assists/set (5.91) and attack percentage (.368) while making 38 service aces, placing her second on the team … closed with fourth-most digs (236) at a clip of 2.03 digs/set, earning USA South All-Sportsmanship Team honors … helped the Spirits finish with 1507 kills (12.88 kills/set) and a .230 attack percentage, all establishing single-season highs in program history … the 685 assists by Wood mark the fifth-most in program history in a single-season … her attack percentage (.368) is the best of any Spirit to play at least 10 sets … delivered 24 assists, while making three kills and three service aces in her collegiate debut against Johnson & Wales (Sept. 6) … emerged with 24 assists and two service aces and three digs against N.C. Wesleyan (Sept. 9) … established a single-match season-high in assists (31) along with nine digs against Roanoke (Sept. 9) … came through with 27 assists along with four service aces against Hollins (Sept. 10) … posted her first collegiate double-double (15 assists / 10 digs) against Randolph (Sept. 10) … had the first of four straight 20-assist matches against Bob Jones (Sept. 16), posting 24 assists and six digs … also posted 24 assists in matches versus Methodist (Sept. 24) and Mary Baldwin (Sept. 24) … delivered 27 assists and added 14 digs in match at Brevard (Oct. 4) … emerged with 24 assists and 11 digs versus Meredith (Oct. 8), resulting in her fourth double-double of the slate … handed out 27 assists and closed with 14 assists in five-set triumph against William Peace (Oct. 11) … enjoyed her seventh double-double of the season (21 assists / 13 digs) at Greensboro (Oct. 12) … made 25 assists against both Methodist (Oct. 15) and Roanoke (Oct. 17) … closed with 24 assists and 10 digs in match with N.C. PREP: Graduated from Kings Mountain High School in 2022 … played for three seasons on the varsity unit (2019-21) for the Mountaineers … competed for coaches Lindsay Ellis and Heather Pasour while at Kings Mountain High School … has played on the Club Volleyball circuit since 2018 … spent the 2018-19 season playing for the CJV 15 Semi-National team under Amanda Scott … followed that by competing for the CJV 16 (2019-20) and CJV 17 (2020-21) units under the coaching of Vanessa James and Dee James … played for the Upwards 18 National unit, and Coach BC, in 2021-22.
