JUNIOR (2021-Volleyball): Joined the volleyball program after spending two seasons on the Salem soccer team … appeared in seven matches (24 sets) and emerged with 41 digs (1.71 digs/set) … played her first match against N.C. Wesleyan (Sept. 25), finishing with 12 digs in the process … played two sets, recording three digs, in a clash with Greensboro (Sept. 25) … wrapped up a clash with William Peace (Oct. 23) with three digs … came through with two digs in a match with Averett (Oct. 23) … delivered a single-match season-high 13 digs in a five-set clash with Methodist (Oct. 27), marking the final match of her career at Varsity Gym … played two sets and tallied a dig versus Southern Virginia (Oct. 30) … capped off her volleyball career with a seven-dig outing in a win over Mary Baldwin (Oct. 30).

SOPHOMORE (2019-Soccer): Played in 15 matches over the course of the season … started the first four matches of the season against Bob Jones (Aug. 31), Guilford (Sept. 4), Covenant (Sept. 7) and Agnes Scott (Sept. 8) … had her first shot of the season at Meredith (Oct. 1) … came through with a shot against Averett (Oct. 5) … came through with one shot in a 2-1 victory over Piedmont International (Oct. 17) … had her last shot of the season against Mary Baldwin (Oct. 26).

FIRST YEAR (2018-Soccer): Served as a solid reserve throughout the course of the season, seeing action in 15 contests, including one start … had one shot on goal.

PREP: Graduated from Coral Reef Senior High School in 2018 … a two-sport athlete that played both soccer (four years) and volleyball (one) … captured the GMAC Championship on two occasions … competed on the Club Soccer circuit for four teams including Kendall United, PSG, Kendall Hammocks and South Dade United.

PERSONAL: Jessica Cruz … daughter of Jessica and Jonadab Cruz … born July 21, 2000 … has one sibling, Jonadab, Jr. … member of ITOSA.
