Biography

Kylie is entering her Senior year at Salem. Her High School career consisted of: MVP Award (2012 & '13), Team Captain (2012 & '13), and All District (2013) awards. Her College career is very similar receiving the following accolades: GSAC Freshman of the Year (2014), GSAC All Freshman team (2014), GSAC All Conference (2014 & '15), Team MVP (2014 & '15), and All Tournament Team @ EMU (2015), She is also an exceptional student in the classroom being honored with the GSAC All Academic Team (2015). In High School, she was the Vice President and Co-Founder of the Young Adult Outreach Program at the Merritt Island Public Library and volunteered at the MIPL each summer. She has a brother, Luke, who is 16, and a sister, Lauren, who is 19. Luke also plays volleyball and hopes to play in college some day. Kylie's parents are Jan and Jim Taffer. Jim played basketball at Murray State.
