Greensboro, NC-The Salem College track & field team traveled down I-40 East to Greensboro for the North Carolina A&T Aggie Invitational. Stephanie Verdi had a very strong 1500 in the meet. 

Verdi finished in 12th overall out of 25 runners. She ran a strong time of 5:23.39. Cristi Magracia finished in 25th in the 800 in 2:45.86. Elizabeth Penley had a strong meet as she finished in 22nd in the discus and 28th in the shot-put.

The Spirits return to the track next weekend as they head to Virginia for the Christopher Newport Captain Classic.
