Lynchburg, VA-The Salem College track & field team competed at the Liberty Twilight Qualifiers last night. Elizabeth Penley had the two highest finishes for the Spirits. She was 8th in the shot-put (8.63 m) and 9th in the discus (25.46m).

Cristi Magracia was the top finisher for Salem in the 800 meter run (2:41.12). Tali Schroeder was the top finisher in the 1500 meter run (6:16.94). Meghan Menard was the top runner in the 400 meter run (1:10.03) from Salem. Jasmine Romero-Mendieta was the first runner from Salem in the 200 meter run (30.16).
