Salem Athletics has a huge week ahead, hosting two events.

The week begins with #3 seeded Volleyball competing in the USA South Conference Tournament First Round, where they will be taking on #6 seeded Pfeiffer, played right here at Salem. The Falcons and Spirits have faced off twice already this season, with Salem winning both matchups 3-0. It was one of the more dominant conference matchups for the Spirits, outscoring Pfeiffer 150 to 97. The stat leaders between these games were Aspen Bradley with 30 kills, Olivia Torres with 26 digs, and Leah Rymer with 57 assists. This matchup is a must-win for Salem Volleyball as they are looking to repeat their conference championship appearance. 

The second and final game of this week will be Salem Basketball's home opener, where they will be taking on Regent. This is their first matchup against the Royals, and are looking to get off to a hot start in their 2025-26 campaign. The Spirits have seven returners, including top scorer Nicole Hester and pointguard Jade Ware, as well as four newcomers. Athletics will also be hosting a Staff and Faculty Appreciation night alongside Salem Human Resources.
