After a dominant weekend at the Maroon Classic, Junior Libero Madison Bozarth received the USA South Defensive Player of the Week award. 

The Spirits took home four wins last weekend, two of them in straight sets. Bozarth played a large role at the Libero position, racking up 67 digs between the four games. Against Carolina University, Bozarth was two digs away from tying her career high. Where she did tie a career high however, was against both Carolina and Roanoke where she secured four service aces. 

The Spirits are now on a 5 game win streak, that Bozarth is pushing to continue when they take on both Johnson C. Smith and Johnson & Wales this Saturday, September 13th at 11am and 3pm.
