Salem Athletics has another big weekend ahead, consisting of two soccer games and two volleyball games. 

The weekend kicks off with Soccer taking on Hollins University today in Roanoke, VA. The Spirits are undefeated against them in their 6 contests, with their largest margin being 10-0 in 2015. Their last matchup was in 2023, where Salem took home the win with a 6-0 score. 

Salem Volleyball is continuing their streak of full weekends and will host a triangular tomorrow. They are taking on both Johnson C. Smith and Johnson and Wales.The Spirits are undefeated against Johnson C. Smith, but haven't faced off since 2009, where they won their last contest in straight sets. Salem has played Johnson and Wales three times, beating them twice and losing once. Their most recent face off in 2022 ended in a straight sets victory for the Spirits.

After two full weekends in a row, the Spirits are looking to build on their 5 game winning streak as they are looking ahead at the approaching conference season.

To wrap up the weekend, Salem Soccer will host Berea College. The two have never faced off before, making this game a true test on both sides. The Spirits The Spirits are coming off of a few high scoring games and are looking to continue building on their strong defense and aggressive offense.
