Buena Vista, VA-The Salem College soccer team used two second half goals to pick up a road victory in the rain at Southern Virginia. The Spirits used goals by Hannah Huskey and Alyssa Denkovich for the win. Salem is now 4-1 overall.

Huskey scored in the 62nd minute on a corner kick by Mary Ormsby. Denkovich sealed the win ten minutes later on a shot from distance. Hannah Bullock earned the shutout in goal with 3 saves.

Salem held a 12-7 shot advantage and a 12-0 corner kick advantage.

The Spirits will host nationally ranked Lynchburg College on Saturday at noon.
