Salem Soccer loses their first match in September to Randolph, falling 1-2. 

While Randolph had a few early shots on goal, the Spirits opened up the scoring in half one, with Darilyn Nieto finding the back of the net in the 23rd minute. By the 29th minute, Michaela Iapaluccio had racked up four saves. Randolph was able to crack the code, however, getting one past Iapaluccio in the 33rd minute. Both Salem and Randolph were able to find a few more opportunities before the end of the half, but both keepers were able to keep each other at bay. 

It only took about 10 minutes for the shots to start rolling in on both sides, six coming from Randolph between the 59th and 68th minutes. Randolph was able to secure one final goal in the 73rd minute that was unanswered by the Spirits. 

Salem Soccer will next be in action on Tuesday September 23rd where they travel to Southern Virginia for their Conference Opener.
