Greensboro, NC-The Salem College tennis team lost 9-0 to Guilford College today. Amy Allison (Geneva, OH) played the closest match for the Spirits at the number six singles position. Salem falls to 1-1, while Guilford improves to 2-1.
Allison lost in a three-set match to Adelaide Ayres (2-6, 6-2, 6-10). Katherine Elliott also had a tight match at number one singes, eventually losing in a close two sets.
Salem returns to action on February 23rd when they host Peace College in their first home match of the season.
