Decatur, GA-The Salem College tennis team earned 2 huge victories out of 3 matches on a road trip to Georgia in Great South play. The Spirits earned victories over Spelman (5-4) and Wesleyan (8-1) to earn a spot in the Great South Tournament. The Spirits improved their overall record to 4-10, and their Great South record to 3-6 and earned a fifth seed.

Kerri Morgan (Walnut Cove, NC) won both her number 1 singles matches against Spelman and Wesleyan. Amy Allison (Geneva, OH) pulled off a 3 set victory to help lead the Spirits to the win against Spelman in a very tight match.

The regular season is now over for the Spirits, and they will hit the courts for the Great South Tournament starting on April 20th.
