Soccer improves to 9-2

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College soccer team defeated Guilford 4-0 in non-conference action yesterday. Nataly Mojica scored twice in the first-half of the win. Salem improves to 9-2 with the win.

Mojica opened up the scoring in the 9th minute off an assist by Taylor Norman. She scored again in the 31st minute. Tarryn Bundy scored early in the second half off an assist by Mojica. Tarryn Johnson concluded the scoring in the 75th minute with a penalty kick.

The Spirits controlled most of the game and held a 19-8 shot advantage and a 9-2 corner kick advantage. Kimmi Templeton picked up the shutout with 3 saves.

The Spirits return to GSAC action on Saturday when they travel to Agnes Scott.
