Tennis smashes Greensboro

Greensboro, NC-The Salem College tennis team smashed Greensboro on the road, 9-0. Ashley Koehler, DeAnna Wilkins, Sam Story, and Ayla Pruitt all won both their singles and their doubles matches.

"We had a good day of tennis today," said Head Coach Kevin Fleck. "We improved as a team and were able to work on a lot of new skills in our matches."

Allie Watkins and Leia Pruitt teamed together to win at # 2 doubles. Andrea Akers and Kerri Morgan also picked up wins in singles play at #1 and #3.

Coach Fleck said, "I'm proud of the way our team bounced back and competed with tremendous focus and effort. We are primed and ready for our matches this weekend!"
