WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Salem College soccer team fell at home to the Tornadoes of Brevard College Tuesday evening 2-1.

First Half

Both teams were on the board within the first five minutes of the game. BC scored in the first minute, but Ellie Montes answered shortly after setting up the 1-1 score through most of the half. With just under 10 minutes in the half Brevard would move ahead 2-1.

Second Half

Both teams had plenty of great chances in the second half, but the defensive units and goal keepers held strong to keep the 2-1 score through the buzzer.  

Salem Standouts

-Montes collected her second goal of the season in the contest.
