After a successful 2024 campaign with a 15-3 Conference Record, Regular Season Champions, and second in the Conference Tournament, Salem Spirits Volleyball has secured the third place spot in the USA South Preseason Poll.Â
Â
Losing multiple key players going into the season, the Spirits secured 11 newcomers, both First Years and Transfers, to round out their 2025 squad.Â
Â
The Spirits did bring back a few key returners who are sure to make an impact on their 2025 campaign. Sophomore Setter Leah Rymer is poised to expand on her success from last season. She racked up five Rookie of the Week Awards, 1011 Assists, and 326 Digs. Aspen Bradley was awarded with First Team All-Conference as a result of her 441 Kills and 51 Total Blocks.Â
Â
Two more key parts of the Spirits this year will be Senior Bella Mann and Junior Ellie Scherer, who put up 125 and 199 kills respectively.Â
Â
The Spirits are aiming high this season and are striving to build upon last year's success.Â
